Start to dream with Danone: winners of the Andriy Poluektov Scholarship Program announced
28 JanuaryBased on the results of the first semester, the winners of the A. Poluektov Scholarship Program by Danone were determined. Each of the winners received a 30 thousand hryvnia scholarship. The program is aimed at supporting students of technological specialties and specialties related to the food industry. It continues at two Ukrainian universities: Odessa National Technological University and Kremenchug National University named after M. Ostrohradsky.
During the first semester, 70 students applied for participation in the scholarship program. Of them, 16 made it to the finals and 4 were selected as winners. Each winner represents one of the 4 specialties that participated in the program. They strive to solve global challenges of our time, create innovations in the fields of bioengineering, electrical engineering, food technologies and sustainable development. Their creative approach, desire for change and desire to help others became key factors that led to victory.
“We want to support young and promising professionals and give them the opportunity to prove themselves and take the first steps in their careers. The finalists of the program in the first semester have already joined the event at the company’s office, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with our activities, colleagues and received career consultations and advice. The scholarship program was founded in honor of our colleague Andriy Poluektov, former Marketing Director in Ukraine, who ensured the company’s growth on the Ukrainian market,” noted Iryna Sitnikova, Human Resources Director of Danone in Ukraine. The program will continue for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Students of 1-5 years of full-time study in the following specialties can apply for the scholarship program:
- “Food Technologies” and “Technology of Production and Processing of Livestock Products” of Odessa National Technological University;
- “Biotechnologies and Bioengineering” and “Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics (Electrical Machines and Apparatuses)” of Kremenchuk National University named after M. Ostrogradsky.
